Dark cola in appearance, slight lacing with a thin creamy beige head. Blackstrap molasses and sarsaparilla root on the nose. Sweet treacley flavour, strong notes of anise with a sour lactose aftertaste that coats the tongue and palate. Thin but silky mouthfeel. An almost cloyingly sweet porter, not unlike the one that is brewed by Okanagan Springs, and difficult to finish.
