Draft. Pours a reddish brown with two fingers of head that dissipate quickly. The aroma is mostly nutmeg and cinnamon. It is a little sweet but you do taste the alcohol It was served quite cold but warmed up quickly and nicely. . There is little to no alcohol burn on the finish. Very drinkable. Very smooth, medium bodied, not complex. You could down a few of these. I like to booze mixed with sweetness. A solid effort from the boys in Rockville, VA. Nice holiday winter warmer.

Simple beer but hits the right notes. Reddish brown body with two finger head that dies quick with minor lace and leaves some patches on top of an aroma that is mostly nutmeg, cinnamon, possible ginger (doubt it, though) and that is mostly sweet with a touch of booze. At seven percent alcohol the beer is smooth and not so much a warmer (due to name I put winter warmer and it has some winter warmer characteristics), and by that I mean there is really any alcohol burn or heat on the finish. Smooth, light to medium body, goes down easy, not particularly fancy or complex but was easy for me to drink, especially as I liked the powerful sweet edge this beer has. A real treat to try if you get the chance.
