A - Hazy bright orange, despite the style being a hoppy belgian blond. Minimal quickly disappearing lacing. Half a finger of head for one pint poured into a clear plastic cup.
S - Mild hops, mostly banana and pale yeasty smell. The scent is very session-like, not overwhelming but includes some spice.
T - No heat, just a great hoppy belgian pale. I don't taste the yeast nearly as much as I smelt it but I do get the back of the tongue high AA hops. The release was today on draft only, no growlers and brewery only. Its clearly fresh and the mild spice fits perfectly.
M - Perfect carbonation
O - If you're in Richmond, VA, stop by Midnight brewery. Beer is very reasonably priced and this one is actually a collaboration with Lickinghole Creek Brewery. Very well crafted local beer with an appropriate belgian flare. Cheers.
