I got over with my buddy on my last night in Dayton as past of a mini brewery crawl in downtown Dayton. Lots of room inside, friendly bartenders, and an expansive tap list. Lots of TVs for sports and overall a fun place on the Tuesday evening we stopped by. I had an Oregon Alley and it was fresh and delicious. I would absolutely come back here, especially on a college football weekend or something like that.

A big, open taproom. Lots of different styles on tap. Nothing is mind blowing, but most are well done. You can pick up a few of their brews in cans, but coming to the brewery is worth it. In the summer, you can walk to the Dayton Dragons baseball games from their parking lot. Makes for a pretty nice day.

I enjoyed the minimalistic interior. Was perfect for an after work gathering of craft beer drinkers. I thought the craft beers had good flavor. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We tried a few flights and I took home a growler. Price was perfect - and always great to get out and support a local start up.

Atmosphere: Been waiting to try this place since it opened. Not too crowded for a Friday night, but not dead either. Simply decorated - you can tell that this place was a converted convenience store but that's okay. Nice wood bar, tables, and chairs. I may try outside next time when the weather is a bit cooler.

Quality: Good craft beers in my opinion. Not always adhering to style, but not skimping on flavor either. Quite creative take on a porter here and I suspect some of the other beers I saw (but didn't try) will be equally good.

Service: Since its a small joint, quick and easy service. Staff will strike up a conversation if you want, or leave you alone if you just want to taste and savor your beer.

Selection: Only 4 beers on tap the night I was there, 3 regular brews and one special. Nice list of beers coming up to give you some incentive to come back and see what they have to offer. Pretty clear that this is a small operation - so selection is limited.

Pints were $4 each except for the special, which was $5. Tasting flights of 4 beers were $5 each. Growlers $17 (includes the bottle) and $13 for growler refills. Pretty reasonable prices in my opinion.

Vibe: The tap room seemed a bit cozy, with a couple of high tables, some stools at the bar and a TV. Some outdoor seating is available on a patio in front of the building. Although the place wasn’t that large, it seemed quite busy for the time I was there, as a number of people came in to fill up growlers at a window on the side of the bar.

Quality: The quality of the beers varied from some tasting like homebrew to others tasting quite interesting. It would probably be worthwhile to get a sampler flight before purchasing beers in large quantities.

Service: The wait staff seemed very friendly and was having conversations with many of the customers that walked in. They seemed very eager to answer questions about the brewery and its future plans, as it had only opened a few months ago.

Selection: A total of five beers were available on-tap during my visit (Broken Trolley Blonde, Brown Street Ale, Hawthorn Hill Hefeweizen, Oregon Valley Imperial IPA and Rising River Porter) with sizes ranging from sampler flights to pint glasses to growler fills.

Value: The prices seemed inexpensive and reasonable compared to other places in the area.
