Copenhagen 5/3 2022. 33 cl bottle from Beerdealer web-shop. Frosty blue label with a lot of ice and a Polar Bear and a white Swan.
Pours unclear amber with a big, fluffy white head. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a distinct odor of malts and sugar mingling with a scent of sour grains and alcohol. Caramel and brown sugar. Earth musty touch. Sharp boozy notes.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sugary with a light bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is sugary yet dry,
A very sweet winter warmer. But it does get you warm.
