Another contract brew from Brouwerij Anders. Didn't knew it when I was in the shop. Their website seems to indicate that they are in the process of creating a place of their own. Don't quite know if it's a bar or they are going to brew themselves.
The three beers they have brewed at Anders are all bicycle themed. They explain that they are ardent cyclist in the city of Brussels. A shared passion and inspiration. Cycling in Brussels is daily struggle between life and death, so a strong thumbs up for them.
They distribute the beer through bio-supermarkets. Although my local bio-super isn't featured, that's where I picked it up.
Poured in my trusty "Seef" tumbler.
When pouring, nice astringent hoppyness filled the room.
Creamy milk white head crowns a very pale, slightly hazy beer.
Not a lot of odour. Mostly lemon and some malts. Resembles a radler.
Flavour is mostly lemon. Topped with a smoky wood sensation
Aftertaste still gives some lemon and some smoked wood. Mouthfeel is slightly drier.
Very simple pallet, but not bad. A bit low in alcohol at 3,8% for me, but as a summer BBQ drinker it would work.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
