Found this on tap at Charlie Parker Steak. Served in a 12 oz pilsner glass.
Appearance - Rich chocolate brown in color, opaque, with a good 1/2" of thick tan foam. Head lasted a long time.
Smell - Chocolate and some caramel with a little hop coming through
Taste - Chocolate comes through but with a little hop bitterness. Slight alcohol but not overly strong. It is definitely a rich brown.
Feel - Syrupy smooth. Not as thin as a lot of the Brown Ales. Hops come through at the end. Slight carbonation
Overall - I like a good brown ale and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It has a richness that you don't normally find in a lot of the beers in this style.
