This tastes a lot more like a Belgian wit beer that’s way too bright than a Hefeweizen! It has a light opaque straw with a extra helping of bright citrus that doesn’t go well with the yeast. The carbonation is not so bad, but the aftertaste is a really bright citrus Italian bread. Overall, I highly recommend you to have Karl Strauss’s Hefeweizen, La Cumbre Brewing’s A Slice of Hefen and Ginga Kogen Beer’s Wheat Beer. Those beers are a benchmark for hefeweizens outside of Germany!
