The beer pours with a lot of head, only to die out in a couple of minutes. The beer has enough carbonation, only the head is very thin.
Smell is malty with some yeast derived smells like (mild) solvent and ripe bananas, maybe some clove. Now I look at the label, which says 'use of honey' which is actually quite apparent. It brings a flowery and cidery smell, in a good way of course. The smell as a whole is Belgian with a lot going on, it leans mostly on the yeast.
Taste is also yeast forward, the yeast adds a flowery and solventy taste, with notes of honey, banana and clove. The solvent is not overpowering, it adds a kind of freshness that is essential in a beer this strong. The malt base is thick and sweet with enough dextrines and sweetness to balance the beer's alcohol and yeast character. The bitterness is not high, but gives the beer enough balance.
