Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a chocolatey brown coloring, with a filmy, clingy, light cream colored head. Nose of roasted mocha coffee, with cream highlights. Flavors are chocolate and coffee forward, with the perfect balance. Subtle cream highlights, with notes of earth and char, too. Smooth, but dry, with a roasted coffee aftertaste. Smooth, dry finish. This is a great beer.
