Poured from a 16 oz can into a Teku Glass
The beer pours a fairly clear, straw color with a large foamy white head that recedes quickly leaving behind spotty lacing.
The aroma is mild, and fairly clean, lightly fruity, lemony, and just a hint of Jalapeño
The flavor is light for the style. Like the aroma I get some lemon, a mild tartness, and a nice dose of Jalapeño on the back end. Not much in the way of Belgian Yeast character. Light bodied and medium carbonation, the beer finishes a bit dry.
Overall, this is not a bad beer, but it does seem to be missing some of the yeast character that you look for in a Saison

Strong jalapeño flavor and spicy kick. Overpowers the yeast character or tartness I look for in a saison, though.
