A: Pours an extremely murky milky medium to dark golden burnt orange in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright yellow + medium golden yellow + orange + copper colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy white head that slowly reduces to a couple of small patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy tropical/mango, tropical/guava, and tropical/pineapple (overripe) fruits over the top of moderate aromas of biscuit + oat + wheat + caramel malts with a slightly stronger than moderate amount of caramel + lactose sweetness. Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit, citrus/orange, tropical/papaya, spicy, and pine hops.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + oat + wheat + caramel malts with a slightly stronger than moderate amount of caramel + lactose sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy tropical/mango, tropical/guava, and tropical/pineapple (overripe) fruits. Finally there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit, citrus/orange, tropical/papaya, spicy, and pine hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving lingering tropical fruit flavors.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly creamy with a soft/fluffy mid-body and a moderate amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with relatively well hidden alcohol. Enjoyable with a pleasant amount of juicy tropical fruits as well as tropical + citrus + spicy + pine hop profile and just enough lactose + caramel sweetness. A very enjoyable milkshake IPA.
