Appearance: Pours with a one finger beige head capping the fudge brown liquid; leggy with streaks of lacing
Smell: Rich molten chocolate tones with hints of licorice and caramel
Taste: Rich chocolate flavors, up front, with some caramel and licorice developing; a modest amount of roast and bitterness arrives, at the swallow, to counteract the sweetness; the finish is well-balanced
Mouthfeel: Full bodied; creamy with moderate carbonation
Overall; A nice Imperial Stout with a lot of flavor and good balance
