A really good beer, I wish it were more readily available where I live. The ABV is well hidden, more than one is dangerous.

A: Pours a relatively clear (but almost opaque) medium to dark golden orange in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate medium to dark golden yellow + burnt orange + copper colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a medium to large sized patch of medium thick film covering a little less than 50% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of overripe tropical/mango, overripe tropical/papaya, tropical./melon, citrus/grapefruit, floral, and pine hops over the top of moderate aromas of toasted + caramel malts with a just shy of moderate amounts of caramel sweetness. Slight hints of booziness.
T: Upfront there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of toasted + caramel malts with a just shy of moderate amounts of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of overripe tropical/mango, overripe tropical/papaya, tropical./melon, citrus/grapefruit, floral, and pine hops which impart a moderate amount of lingering aggressive bitterness. Light hints of booziness as well.
M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of dryness and alcohol warming in the finish.
O: Not the easiest to drink as this is a big west coast TIPA and there is a fair amount of booziness to it. Enjoyable hop profile and a nice malty base with enough sweetness to help balance it out.

Orange and clear with a dense off white head that leaves behind lots of lacing. Smell is overripe tropical fruit, melon, caramel sweetness and piney hops with some floral notes. Taste is the same as the smell with lots of fruit and melon. Sweet with a piney and floral finish. The booziness is a little much in this one.
