16oz can poured into a snifter
A- pours jet black in color with a one-finger creamy khaki colored head that has great retention before eventually leaving some lacing behind
S- a nice mix of chocolate and roasted malts giving aromas of bakers cocoa, charred wood and roasted coffee. Undertones of nuts, caramel and a hint of vanilla
T- sweet notes of chocolate and caramel undertones are followed by a nice dry roasted note that adds flavors of coffee, charred malt and anise. The finish is dry with more chocolate and roast that sticks around on the linger
M- light body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns slightly creamy into a light finish
O- a full flavored Irish stout that checks all of the boxes. Impressive flavor for a stout under 4.5% abv
