On tap at Chinaski’s, Madrid.
Solid creamy tan head over bright chestnut. 4
Candied orange peel, flowers, dank, and toffee. 4
Caramel, then flowers, tangerine and fresh papaya, then bangin’ Sunny D finish. 4.5
Light, slight oil, smooth, bit of stick. 4
Even the proper nose doesn’t prepare you for the juicy hop onslaught. Citrus in the way that local oranges are better than imported. More fresh squeezed than Fresh Squeezed. Dying to more about the hops + brewery both. ps: Why Imperial Red IPA? Why not Amber? The body? 4.5
Ed: Mango additions! Never would’ve guessed, but it helps somewhere.
