Appearance: Big foamy white head. Good lacing. Medium perceived effervescence. Copper to Mahogany colour. Hazy.
Smell: Medium intensity. Aroma is flowery with notes of fresh hops, caramel malt, diacetyl and higher alcohols.
Taste: Medium intensity. Surprisingly balanced with a good play of caramel malts, dried fruit and herbal flavours. British like hop resiness, butter and nail polish like notes also detectable. Decent length on the aftertaste.
Palate: Watery texture. Medium bitterness. Low carbonation. ABV well hidden. Finishes slightly sweet.
Overall: While I would still have this over most supermarket lagers, it definitly feels amateurish and flawed. Not really on par with the rest of their offerings.

330ml bottle. ½ pt Tumbler glass. Enjoyed on jul´12. Deep amber color. Foggy appearance. Tan, creamy froth creates a lasting crown. Dried nut, mildy toasted & caramel malt aromas. Hints of cinnamon & slightly citric touch to the nose. Sweet & smooth maltiness followed by subtle underlying citric & spicy sensation. Slightly smoke is felt. Medium body. Moderate to soft carbonation. Oily texture. Dry bitter finish & resins on the aftertaste. Delightful with ABV well masked.
