Fizzed... Filled the glass with foam, took three pours.
After that, I think age might be an issue, tho fridged from Warner's. Somewhat earthy hops on nose, not on par with style and a little cardboard as well.
Not too zesty taste wise, quite dull. Little grapefruit.
Once it settled carbonation is ok, takes a while.
Not too impressive.

Pours hazy copper with a large lasting head.
Nose shows pine, resinous and earthy hops, sweet bready malt and alittle faint fruit.
Similar hops as flavours, quite earthy, piny and spicy. Nice bready malt in the background and some peach too.
Carbonation seems a little excessive.
A pretty decent English IPA.

A: Pours a cloudy dirty bronze color with a large head that fades to ample lacing.
S: Aroma is a mixture of pine and citrus, with a bit of malt sweetness and a hint of grain.
T: Taste of pine with some citrus, mild malt sweetness and a bit of grain. It has asubtle bitterness and a clean finish.
F: Medium body, crisp smooth and refreshing. Nicely balanced.
O: Enjoyable beer, nice take on an American IPA. Worth a try.

Another excellent beer from Black Dog, I chose this beer as my big one after we sampled the four available. It poured a great golden color with good head. It had a citrus-malt smell and the taste didn't let down. They call it an American IPA, but they use Cascade, Citrate, and Galaxy hops that give it a distinct Australian taste. Really enjoyed this beer.
