A - Black pour with dense soapy toffee colored lacing with nice lacing on the sides of the glass.
S - Dark chocolate, Whiskey, oak, char, some smoke.
T - Whiskey, oak, dark chocolate, burnt cocoa, some smoke and char. Lingering dark cocoa and char on the back end.
M - Thick mouthfeel with some boozy effervescence with a slight gravely finish.
O - This was really enjoyable. The char was a little off putting in the beginning but as I work through this bottle, it became fantastic as the beer breathed!
