Pours a ruby red hue through out with good clarity and a soft white head. Good retention and lacing through out. But did not last through the tasting.
The nose is more hop forward along the lines of a pale ale. A nice up front hoppy aroma with good citrus and light piney smell. Noticeable cascade for sure. Some minor malt aroma with a hint of caramel and a light yeast undertone.
The taste is similar. Hops up front with more citurs and pine. Some good balance but light bitterness that I would like to see a bit more of. Malt is balance well to the hops. A good malt taste with a minor caramel and hint of chocolate undertones. Very clean yeast with no off notes.
The body is moderate to moderately full. Good lingering hop notes and malty undertones. Good carbonation and very clean. Overall a tasty red.
