This is part of the "Monk's Tap", or something along that line, where a different Belgian ale is available every season.
I would consider this more an amber than a pale.
This is a fairly standard Belgian ale in that there's nothing overly interesting about it, but it's consistent at least. When I drink it though, I think "American version of Belgian ale." Seems standard and typical. Which means I guess I should appreciate the ability to pull it off and not obliterate things.
An easy drinker with a slight more noticeable hop presence than what would be the norm.
