Arrives a deep garnet color with a light tan head. Retention isn't a highlight but the ring and thin film last a long while.
Smell is floral hops first and foremost with some malt and vanilla trying to compete.
Taste is rich with malt, floral, vanilla, whiskey and some spice.
Full bodied, rich, warming throughout. A delicious brew indeed that benefits from some warming itself. Quite smooth.
