Pours a clear mahogany color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of strong fresh malt, sweet malt, yeast, slight hop, and alcohol. Fits the style of a Belgian Strong Dark Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level with a noticeable dryness. Tastes of strong fresh malt, sweet malt, clove, yeast, slight hop, and alcohol. Overall, good appearance, too sharp, nice blend, and good body.

Finest craftsmanship and the best stout ale! This one is my favorite. It has a crisp refreshing flavor of deeply steeped tea with a molasses palate and clean dry finish. It is very dark yet clear like syrup. The head is nice and bubbly. This is very refreshing on a hot summer day and the alcohol volume is a wonder! Truly an amazing bear and at the microbrewery you can buy a fresh growler filled from the tap to take along with you.

On draft. Poured out a cloudy, dark brown color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left no lacing on the glass. It smelled of dried fruit, caramel, toffee and roasted malt. Sweet toffee taste with caramel and touch of fruitiness. Mild spicy bitterness.
