Appearance- Dark opaque body. Good carbonation, it also had a nice tan head and lace.
Smell- Strong caramel malt odor. It had both good caramel and chocolate tones.
Taste- The overall taste was fine the aftertaste was a little concerning. It had mildly blended roasted toffee and chocolate flavor to it. I felt this was more like an American Stout than an Irish but either way the initial taste was good. The aftertaste had almost a wine flavor to it. It was fruity and sour.
Mouthfeel- Full and sticky but good.
Drinkability- Not bad I would give it another shot.
