Tasted this beer at the Cross Keys pub in City, London recently.
A: pours a light amber colour with moderate fizz, while the beer head is minimalist.
S: rich note of toffee with its creamy sugary edge most explicit upfront, light note of caramel is there too, while some strawberry-like sweet fruitiness is detected at the back. Smells quite unusual for a bitter but softly nice~~
T&M: juicy malt flows onto the palate, alongside a mildly zesty hop flavour, turning slightly bitter slowly. The aftertaste is very mild, just lightly malty with faint bitterness... Overall the mouthfeel is just about right, adequately lively, to buttress the flavour.
D: with a quite different aroma for a traditional bitter, the flavour is somehow quite reserved and simple. O.K. beer.

Some wheaty sourness, some earthy stinkyness, which was almost appetising, something was definitely fishy in here, salty, some sulfur and dirty nappies, actually quite interesting in the end, even though the flavours didn't blend well. (Cask GBBF 03')
