Pours a rather clear orange brown color with a thin tan head. Head dissipates rather quickly.
Smell is a pungent aroma of whisky, oak, vanilla, barley malts and toffee.
Taste is a nice blend of vanilla, toffee butterscotch and malts. Lots and lots of barrel character with a nice wooden oaky character. A noticeable alcoholic burn in the finish. Strong whiskey character.
Feel is a bit thin. Medium carbonation with some real alcoholic burn.
Overall a really nice barrel aged wheat wine. Bit hot and rough around the edges but really tasty. Bottle this and put some age in it and it would be amazing.
