This hoppy German Pils takes its name from the classic German WWII dive bomber which had wind-driven sirens mounted on the landing gear which made a screaming sound to instill terror upon the battlegrounds of Europe. The clean, crisp bitterness hits you as quickly as a Stuka attack and then yields to the layers of floral, spicy aromas and flavors all the while intermingling with the clean malt backdrop. Fermented cooler and then aged cold for four weeks this interpretation of a classic German Lager is easy drinking and palate cleansing which is perfect to pair with all Oktoberfest fare.

Wow, best Pils I've had. Good hoppy bite. Lots of flavor. Golden crisp body. Wish they bottled this.

Thanks to Thomas for this one!
Served in a half liter dimpled mug at the brewery.

Bright gold with a compact layer of white foam on the surface that leaves behind lots of residual spotty lacing. Sharp clarity with rising plumes of carbonation.

Aroma is grassy, with light dried fruit and slightly yeasty, an unusual hop varietal is on display.

Taste is smooth and clean, malty with an expressive unique hop character. Dried fruit peel, light maltiness. Extremely drinkable, I'd have to revisit to pick up it's nuances again. Washed down Olga's pork butt and kraut well.
