This big IPA is a new addition to the double/imperial IPA lineup here at Rev. A simple malt bill of 2row and red wheat allow the hop character to shine through.
In addition to Citra and Galaxy additions late in the boil, we dry-hopped the beerwith a bit more of Citra and Galaxy. This gives the beer a nice fruity hop nose with notes of grapefruit, tangerine, tropical fruit, and a touch of the herbal/onion notes coming thru on the palate.
It finishes dry with a big, lingering hop bitterness, and a bit of alcohol warmth. Pretty easy-drinkin’ for a beer its strength…

Somehow I overlooked reviewing this one after having it a few times, I guess other things taking precedence.
Brassy golden orange with a compact head of white foam, a drippy ring of lacing around the edges of the glass.
Aroma is tropical with a dry melange of mango, papaya, and tangerine.
Taste is similarly fruity and tropical, but nicely dry and bitter in the aftertaste. Grapefruit, mango, tangerine. Very lithe and well built. Drinks a bit more like a drier IPA version of Unsessionable. Overall this made a huge impression, hopefully it gets revisited in the future.
