Institutionalized with toasted coconut.
Draft snifter, color is very dark brownish orange. Compact layer of creamy tan foam that remains for the first few sips and breaks apart.
Aroma is big on toasted coconut, caramelized sugars, fried plantain, tiny bit of butterscotch. Big, boozy, and malty.
Taste gives off a bit of a bourbon impression with boozy heat, tobacco leaf, vanilla, and big toasted coconut presence. Big and chewy, though sweet at first it tapers off into a dry bitter aftertaste. The warming heat limits consumption for me, one and done, but it was great. I knew this was a one-off, but was surprised to see multiple beers under the same entry here.
