A Rev Pils is a traditional German pilsner that we've brewed with a slightly American approach. All-German malts join in with our Bavarian lager yeast for a crisp and exceptionally clean pilsner.

12oz can
Revolution Brewing Rev Pils filled my pint glass with a slightly cloudy yellow/gold body and produced a 1-finger white head that formed a ring in the glass. The nose is light with hops, malts, and bready noted. The taste is a bit bready, then followed by hops that linger a little. Mouthfeel is light and crisp – very drinkable.
Rev Pils would make a good summertime beer.

Crystal clear pour from the can a month and change out from bottling. Light hops on the nose, with a sharper hop snap on the sip. Zippy effervescence. It’s a good one.

12 oz can into a pint glass. Clear golden color with a large foamy off-white head with staying and lacy ring power. Lemon citrus, yeast, floral hop aroma. Sweet doughy malt and honey hits up front, not enough balancing citrus and hop bitterness, although that and the smooth body certainly makes it crushable.

draft pour into a pint glass. pours straw gold (maybe even a tiny bit darker) with a billowing bright white foam head. clean lager yeast and doughy malts on the nose. taste follows with a slightly hoppy bitter finish. it’s too bad the nose doesn’t translate to the taste because i love the aromas on this one but the finish isn’t my favorite. it’s still good and quite refreshing. it has a medium-full mouthfeel with a fairly bright and lively carbonation to it. solid pils.

Canned 4/19/22; drank 5/31/22 @ the Yarchives.
See-through dull yellow appearance.
A violent pour yielded a huge, noisy eggshell head; decent lace.
Fresh soap, mild lemon, corn & dry wheat notes in the nose.
Medium thin mouthfeel.
Soap, mild corn & dry wheat flavors. A crisp, decent pilsner.

Not sure if I would call this a German style, seems to be more in line with the Czech style. Either way, it's crisp and follows all of the guide lines a good pilsner has.

Pours a slightly hazy, straw gold with a one finger, off white head. Plenty of carbonation.
Smells of lemongrass, yeast, malt and slight hop.
A very light tasting Pilsner and watch nothing really stands out. Slight hop, yeast and brattiness on the backend.
Crisp and refreshing. Good enough for a Pilsner.
