Had this on tap at Tap House in Plainfield.
A - Pours black with small tan heads.
S - Aroma is not strong, mostly roasty malt.
T - The flavor is right down the middle for stouts. Sticks with the roasty malt theme.
M - Below average carbonation, slightly sticky mouth feel.
O - I'm a big fan of Revolution and this was a bit of a letdown. I suppose this could fall into their year-round lineup and could be a good seller on tap and in 6 packs. But there is not enough going on here to make this special.

On tap at the rev production facility. Black and opaque in color. Smell is chocolate and roasty malts. Taste is rather basic stout. No adjuncts or other tricks. Abv amazingly well hidden. Overall decent but not outstanding

Thanks to Liz & Ben for this one, congrats guys!

Dark brownish black in the glass, compact head of tan foam that leaves plenty of sticky lace.
Aromas of roast malt and dark fruits, lightly estery, fairly dry.
Rich roasty malt, dry bakers chocolate, dried fruit esters, lingering dry ashy roast.
Medium to full bodied, dry and certainly drinkable. Really good stuff, perfect for fall.
