Deep ruby to brown in color. Two fingers of light brown head. Retention and lacing are superb. Aroma is fairly subdued, earthy, spicy, slightly piney. Good malt presence as well. The taste is earthy, woody, slightly spicy and piney. Toasty notes and slight chocolate malt as well. Medium-light body, moderate-light carbonation, and a dry finish. Really excellent brown by Rev.
