Draft at the brewery.
Black with an ample head of mocha foam that fades quickly. Minimal spotty lacing.
Aroma is mellow, some roast and vanilla sweetness.
Taste is more barrel forward, light oak and vanilla, dark chocolate.
Some astringent heat from the barrel, but it drinks pretty easily. Light bodied.
Served pretty cold and allowed to warm to room temperature, which improved it slightly.
Overall its pretty good, though not the best they've done. Seemed like too much time in the barrel.
