Three pounds per barrel of freshly roasted Dark Matter Cocoa-infused San Jeronimo Miramar Catuai goes toe-to-toe with the fudgy, oaky flavors of our extended age BA Stout. A short, cold, whole bean extraction process provides a bright, clean, chocolatey coffee aroma not unlike the first whiff of a freshly opened bag, and V.S.O.D. does the rest.

Had this on draft at the taproom 12/13/19.
Black appearance.
Minimal tan head; minimal lace.
Fresh dark roast coffee bean & dark chocolate notes in the nose; VERY java forward.
Creamy, thick mouthfeel.
Strong fresh dark roast coffee bean & sweet milk chocolate flavors; mild booze heat notes emerged as this warmed.
My only complaint...using VSOD may have been a waste, as the coffee was too prominent for any subtleties to shine.
