First enjoyed on draft at the Rev brewpub, reviewing from a crowler. Pours a dark amber-purple under a half-finger of head that dissipates completely. Some light effervescence when swirled. Caramel, plum, modest spice on the nose. Fairly sweet on the palate, with an abundance of Christmas spices. Full-bodied and a bit syrupy, lacking complexity but the flavors it does have are quite enjoyable.
