Pours a slightly hazier than usual light golden with a fluffy head. The smell is less intense than expected and has a piney dankness go it mostly. The taste follows the nose but feels piney and sticky and very bitter, but it finishes clean with no lasting after taste. it goes down pretty easily and it's not too heavy so you could definitely have a second. Overall pretty good and I appreciate it in the mixed pack but I wouldn't buy a six pack of just this one.

L: Clear gold with a lot of rocky head.
S: Sour citrus with a hint of pine.
T: Pretty bitter with heavy pine and a secondary taste of grapefruit.
F: Decently bitter but not dry, on the light side of medium body.
O: A sipping IPA that looks and smells beautiful. The taste can be a little harsh and too bitter at points but otherwise a fantastic IPA. The hero lineup is proving to be a very nice collection.

Canned on 5/18/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with great clarity and has bubbles swirling upwards; fluffy and creamy white head that falls slowly leaving great thick retention and sticky lacing. There's a nice subtle tropical aroma. Hints of peach and coconut along with some orange in the background. Malts are there. The flavors are pretty clean, crisp and refreshing. The flavors have more of a citrus vibe going on. There's a nice amount of orange along with some grapefruit. Hints of crackers and bread. Mild hints of caramel. Nice hop bitterness. Malts do their thing. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is very nice. It's medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, spritzy, slightly fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a nice IPA. The craftsmanship really takes this one to the next level. It's simply well done, which is what to be expected from most of Revolution's IPAs.

Got this in a League of Heros 12 pack. It is delicious. I might consider it as being west coast style (or at least west coast influenced). Didn't see many other reviews, so maybe this is a new beer.

12oz can, date stamped 03-17-2020. Clear, golden body with a frothy ivory colored head. Grassy & fruity hop aroma, citric and herbal too; light bready caramel malt. Flavors are similar to aroma: herbal, grassy, and floral hops with grapefruit, pine resin, and a hint of tropical fruit; nice nutty and bready caramel malt backbone comes through nicely to add some sweetness. Medium-to-full body, ample carbonation, bitter finish. All these Hero beers are fun to try - glad to get my hands on this one.
