Appearance: Pours a mildly hazy (40% clarity) medium orange color with a mild white head. SRM of 9. (3.75)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, blood orange, tangerine. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange, blood orange, tangerine. Some mimosa flavors with a dry finish. Definiteley some juice detectable. (4.00)
Feel: Medium bodied. Strong carbonation with a champagne type of mouthfeel. A crisp, dry finish. (4.00)
Compared to Pipeworks Waterballoon Toss Champs 9/24/22: Pours a darker clearer color. Stronger aromas. More blood orange and mimosa and OJ. Less tangerine and tart peach. Crisper and dryer and less tart.
Overall: What a brunch NEIPA. This one has tons of blood orange, OJ, and mimosa flavor. Very much like a mimosa in the champagne type of mouthfeel. Crisp, clean, and carbonated. Its a NEIPA meets mimosa with blood oranges. Not quite my style, but good for what it is. (Rating: 3.94)

Orange flavor came through very well while not being masked by the hops or covering them up either. This is a very balanced beer and looked very juicy. Might be the best thing I've had from this place so far.

Appearance - The beer poured an orange-yellow color with a white head crowning the pour.
Smell - A lot of orange was in the nose with the bitterness of rind. There was an overall undercurrent of sweetness.
Taste - Somebody put a bunch of orange Fanta in my IPA. The profile was sweet and didn’t have a ton of bitterness. It seemed more like soda. This fit the profile the style, but would probably be better without the fruit.
Mouthfeel - The body was thick with an almost oily viscosity.
Overall - There was too much fruit here and not enough IPA.

16 FL. OZ. can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours orange and hazy. It is topped with an inch of tan head that disappears quickly and leaves on lacing.
The aroma is loaded with oranges and has some dankness as well.
Orange and orange pith in the taste. Mildly bitter finish
Medium bodied with an effervescent mouthfeel
Good orange, hazy IPA. I have had better, but this one is pretty tasty.

Muddy orange-gold body, full haze but no chunckiness, with a huge head of soapy, off-white head that drops to a thin film quickly. Attractive overall.
Holy OJ! Massive bomb of pure orange juice, Sunday D, and Tang. Brunch indeed! There are secondary aromas of mango, guava, passion fruit, pineapple, plum, berry, and grape, so there is some balance. But this thing is all about the juicy orange. Throw in some light grassiness and a little grapefruit and lemon at the end. Crazy juicy and very eye- (or nose-) catching.
Taste is just too one note and sweet — and I like a nice touch of sweetness in my IPAs, so this isn’t a bias issue. The orange is now candied and a bit artificial (leaning towards Tang), and though there are some tropical fruits in the mix (mango and pineapple, especially), they’re overripe which just adds to the sweetness. Some grassiness and a mineral note. But this is just too over the top and too far removed from the base Hero series.
Feel is soft and silky with nice coating of the teeth without being sticky (though that just makes the sweetness linger longer). About right for a 6.8% hazy.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Canned 5/20/21, had 6/13/21.
Pours a hazy pale orange, with a one and a half inch foamy head with a decent amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of orange, grapefruit, pineapple, malt. Smells a little dank and grassy. Flavors of orange, malt, grapefruit, some pineapple. Tastes a little herbal and grassy, with some light hop bitterness. Smooth, kind of refreshing, a good lighter body, well carbonated.
The blood orange is very good and really stands out, and there’s lots of other citrus, too. Juicy. Has a little lighter mouthfeel and less of a malt backbone than most beers from Revolution seem to have. Enjoyable.

Served from the tap in a snifter at Consume.
How can he be the "Brunch Hero" if he's not wielding some mimosas? Anyway, this stuff pours a partly cloudy brass-amber topped by a finger of lightly dirty white foam. The nose comprises ruby red grapefruit zest, light wet grass, and some sweet flowers for good measure. The taste brings in more of the same, though that grapefruit character is revealed to be some blood orange shenanigans now. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a slightly drying finish. Overall, a nice enough IPA, a solid entry in the Hero series, but not something I see myself involving myself with very much in the future.
