Medium bodied with about average carbonation that felt almost champagne like.
Aroma was blueberry jam, some fresh blueberry, sour funk with a little ginger in the background.
Taste seemed the opposite with ginger coming on strong, especially as it warmed. Blueberry jam with mild sour and funk

12 oz. can, filled June 29, 2022. A new one to me from Revolution Brewing, acquired a single can as part of a mixed six pack at the local Binny's. "Session sour ale with blueberry & ginger flavor". FLAVOR. Let's see what we've got.
Poured to a clear stemless wine snifter.
Pours a berry smoothie pinkish-purple body, almost hazy or milkshake looking. Finger and a half of airy frothy pinkish-brown tinted foam head. Some fluffy sticking lacing on the glass. Looks pretty nice.
A pleasant aroma: fresh berry medley, like berry juice concentrate, tart ginger imparts a lemon-lime soda pop esque vibe at times, with slight notes of yeast, cream, & funk in there.
Crisp & juicy, with good tartness. The blueberry blends in with the ginger giving off vibes of a berry medley: cranberries, cherries, blueberries, while the ginger releases flavors of spice & lemon zest. The two flavors play off each other nicely. Not overly grainy, wheaty, or dry. Only very slight bacterial finish, mostly very clean. Crisp carbonation; light-bodied, & easy drinking.
Overall, I could see this not being for everyone, but as a session sour this one definitely delivers.

Pours a brilliant, lovely ruby color. Lightly cloudy, completely opaque. Thin white head forms on the beer, lingers a moment, then dissipates leaving no residual head. Aroma has notes of tart berries, blueberries and blackberries. There is a slight spiciness on the nose - the ginger peeping through. Notes of yogurt, wheat, and some light tart notes come through.
Taste follows the nose with notes of blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and strawberries along with some light spicy ginger notes. Gives way to a finish that has notes of wheat, yogurt and a moderate tartness. Feel is light to medium bodied, crisp, smooth, and refreshing. Semi-dry finish.
Overall another lovely fruited sour that is refreshing and drinkable.

I think this was my favorite of Revolutions Freedom series so far. It had a very nice, pleasant berry flavor and the ginger taste left a very nice after taste.
