Thursday August 27, 2020 Revolution Brewpub (Chicago, ILL) Brewpub notes: Froh, Revolution’s Helles Lager released yesterday. 5.6% ABV, 21 IBU. 16 oz Pilsner glass draft pour.
Appearance: Clear straw color pour, mild to heavy carbonation, bright white head leaves fine lacing in its wake. Nice. 4.25
Aroma: Bold flavors, roast malt, cracker, salt and pepper, lemongrass. 3.75
Taste: Taste mirrors aroma, bread, cracker, salt. Malt firm, sweet, lightly dry. Pleasant. 4.0
Mouthfeel: Medium body, fuller than expected, faint carbonation lasts throughout, lightly dry, sweet, easy drinking. 4.0
Overall: Nice new Revolution offering, flavorful Pale Lager. 4.0 (had this before Deth by Berries)
