Crowler from the Cuvee de Grace release, so about a month old. The interesting thing here is that the flavor profile is more like fresh coconut meat than toasted coconut or coconut milk, as most beers with the ingredient are. I quite enjoy the standard Eugene, but the base beer does get a bit swept away by the additive, more so than Coffee Eugene. As a result, this is nice but somewhat imbalanced. I do appreciate, though, that it's not trying to be over-the-top super-coconut.

Crowler filled 4/11/21; drank same day @ the Yarchives.
Opaque black/brown appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big tan head; strong lace.
Mild notes of coconut, chocolate & fresh earth in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Mild notes of coconut, cocoa powder & fresh earth in the flavors; balanced and easy to drink but for a "robust coconut porter", it wasn't that robust.
Good, not great.
