Lovely resinous hop smell. Love the way aroma hops were used here. Flavor is mild, almost watery, in comparison. A bit juicy, with that tropical fruit aftertaste so popular this year. I can taste some stonefruit, like apricot and peach. Not super hoppy flavor, but there is some of that wonderful resinous flavor. Very drinkable for 7.3% and I'd definitely revisit this one.

Pours a hazy apricot flesh with a thick white head. Very nice lacing. Aroma is faint citrus. Flavor is also fairly bland, citrus and not much more. Feel is on the lighter side of medium bodied with a fair amount of carbonation. Overall, just okay.

Had Action-Hero poured from 12-oz. can, bottom stamped "FILLED JUL/28/2021," gift from Chicago pal, into tulip pint.
Pours cloudy gold with 1-finger near-white head, with good retention, leaving nice rings of Belgian lace etched down the glass. Mild dry-hopping resin and floral aromas off pour, and tropical (pineapple) and stone fruit (pear and then peach) joining and taking over as warms. Begins with carbonation and stone fruits (mild peach and pear), joined by some resin and a hint of wheat spice, and malt felt more than tasted, leading into a nicely crisp and drying but still fruity finish.
Why do I keep drinking new IPAs? Apparently because new hops continue to be developed, and brewers continue to find new ways to use new (and old) hops. If you missed this one, look for it again when it hits the rotation. Another excellent new American IPA.

I got a couple of cans of this beer from a mixed 12pck that I bought from my local meijer store. It poured a hazy orangish with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had subtle bitter citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright citrus fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
