2021 vintage; drank 10/16/21 @ Revolution's Taproom.

Brown/black appearance.

Small tan head; decent lace.

Freshly roasted coffee bean, raspberry & faint dark chocolate notes in the nose.

Thick, creamy mouthfeel.

Fresh raspberry, freshly roasted coffee bean & dark chocolate flavors. Mild booze heat emerged when this warmed.

The raspberry & coffee flavors were bold, but they didn't play that well together. An interesting mess.

Pours a thinner brown color for a stout. Thin velvety mocha colored head. Aroma is coffee and raspberries. Taste follows the nose with notes of raspberries, coffee and roasted malts. Feel is thinner, smooth, and rather acidic.

Overall a solid beer but the raspberry and coffee clash too much. The coffee was very green and acidic and combined with the raspberries clashed far more than complimented each other. It tasted forced and harsh.
