Aroma is tropical/very floral/pungent hops. The flavor is fruit, malts/very earthy grains and a nutty/tropical hop finish.

4/13/25 - (Can - Home) (Chicago, IL) Can Notes: Purchased at Beer on the Wall at Park Ridge at store temperature for $4.55 with tax on March 22, 2025. Refrigerated upon returning home until opening this evening. 16 oz, canned 3/6/25 @ 7:58:34 AM, 7.5% ABV. Double Dry Hop Nelson Hero, Hazy India Pale Ale. Brewed by Revolution Beer LLC, 3340 N. Kedzie Avenue, Chicago, IL.
Appearance: Poured about half the can into a Revolution short narrow IPA glass, yielding a pineapple juice base and a creamy generous bright white head yielding soapy lacing and a cream cover over the whole base. Looks very good. 4.25
Aroma: Pineapple, citrus, tangerine. A wonderful tropical fruit medley. 4.5
Taste: Consistent with the aroma, pineapple and citrus battle it out, with the former winning out and a nice tangerine as well. Really liking this presentation of the Nelson hops. Fresh, crisp and delicious. 4.25
Mouthfeel: Faint carbonation, nice bitterness balance to the sweet fruit flavors. Drinks a little below the ABV, consistent with the brewery declared Hazy IPA style. Medium body, mild burn somewhat surprising. Pineapple tangerine start to finish. 3.75
Overall: This is an enjoyable offering and solid presentation of Nelson hops. Bursting with flavor, fresh strong hops, nice bitterness. A solid hazy option to consider on future Revolution trips. 4.0

I have a single can of this and it's about 7 weeks old - seems like a valid sample! I was in the mood for a hazy.
It pours a dirty golden with nice body and head. The aroma is a tangy stank - nicer than the stanky hazy IPA's. The taste is juicy hoppy, with a relatively clean aftertaste. There is a slight bite. It came out better than average.
Recommended. I know my sample wasn't super fresh, but it was still a nice experience.

Pours a very hazy pineapple color with a creamy white head that laces the glass beautifully. The nose is heavy on the tangerine, along with a significant white wine note, and some pineapple for good measure.
That tangerine flavor is forward on the taste, and works well with the white wine flavor (or green grape is probably more accurate), and the pineapple is accompanied by a creamy oat flavor on the finish. Very well executed, IMHO.
The mouthfeel is medium and on the softer side. It’s just another very nice notch in Rev’s Hero holster, of which I am a fanboy.

FILLED JAN/18/2022
L: opaque yellow ale with a tall & frothy off-white head
S: juicy tropical fruit & citrus
T: bold notes of grapefruit, white grape, tangerine, Sauvignon Blanc wine, and oats perhaps
F: very zesty & tangy on the palate; full creamy body, soft carbonation, semi-bitter & semi-dry finish
O: I always love a Nelson Sauvin hopped beer and this was no exception
