The king of the depths strikes with aromas and flavors as expansive as his undersea kingdom. Citrus, passionfruit, and kiwi character reach from the reef to the shores.

Foggy amber body, eggshell colored head some decent lacing. Snot machine says tropical fruit, so do the taste buds, not much of a bitter hoppy finish. Nicely carbonated. Lacks the bite of the original Anti-Hero, one of the really nice IPA's.

12 oz. can, canned on Jun 27, 2022. Another new Hero from Revolution Brewing, my first new beer from this second mixed twelve pack I picked up. Surprised to see this beer has no reviews yet as of this writing, so we'll see what we've got.
Poured into a Camp Crystal Lake stemless tumbler.
A - Pours a nice golden orange body, finger or so of frothy white head that lingers, leaving good fluffy lacing on the glass. Body is semi-clear, passes the light, but lots of tiny sediment particulate floating around. Looks excellent.
S - A fresh & floral hop aroma; not horribly in-your-face, but definitely a pleasing smelling beer. Notes of berries, and some soft pine needles.
T- Taste follows the nose: fruity, juicy, berryish, with some lingering pine resin on the finish. Good classic hoppy bitterness. Biscuit malt presence firmly in the background; this is a hop-forward beer, which I definitely like. Notes of white berries, peaches, nectarine.
M - Feel is smooth, crisp, creamy. Easy-drinking for the modest abv, good carbonation.
Overall, a nice fresh Hero from Revolution, looking forward to the other two varieties in this pack.
