This is a "bastard style" IPA due to the use of malts typical of lagers: Pilsner, Vienna, and Cara-Munich.
Deep gold pint, racing carbonation that never quit, and a tight cap of foam that rose above the rim initially. Some lacing was left, and retention was good.
Very pungent hop aroma, huge citrus from the blend of four hop varieties. Resinous and almost catty. After a few sips, the intense hop aroma and light body reminded me of FFF Gumballhead a bit.
Feel is light, and it's very drinkable. Some crisp, crackery pilsner malts behind the ample dose of C hops, probably Cascade and or Centennial. Citrus rind, grapefruit, leafy and herbal with moderate bitterness that lingers.
Overall a solid IPA i'd get a few pints of, and it's certainly growler worthy.
