Revolution Brewing's first Czech Dark Lager packs the beautifully layered charm of its namesake city into a clean, quenching brew that benefits from extended cold conditioning. Soft on the palate, and carrying Bohemian notes of light toasty caramel and dark fruit.

Revolution Brewery Review Notes (Chicago, ILL): $7 plus tax 16 oz draft into a Pilsner glass. Czech Dark Lager, 5.8% ABV.
Appearance: Impenetrable Dark brown base, light shines only through bottom. Caramel white cream yea leaves thin lacing and a creamy sustained cover over the base. 4.0
Aroma: Light in strength, caramel, pumpernickel after a few attempts. 3.5
Taste: Caramel, toffee, dark rye. A bit of cinnamon, flavors play well together, mild in strength. 3.75
Mouthfeel: Lightly dry, drinking light and easy for a 5.8% offering. Malty but ok fir style, light sustained carbonation, some bitterness plus the desert type spices offsetting the sweet flavor profile. Caramel crisp vibes with the finish. 3.75
Overall: This is a good offering, reminds me a lot of the Garrett Caramel Crisp offering they had earlier. Glad I tried. 3.75 WBAYDN 4022 10/25/23.

From Good Times Oakland, canned January 20th.
Pours a very dark brown with hues of red, off white head of foam, excellent retention and lacing.
The smell is chocolate, roasted malt, toffee, hints of a nutty character.
The taste is chocolate, roasted malt, some nutty notes, lactose, toffee.
Very nice mouthfeel, I would drink this again.

Nice dark brown color, decent tan head fades quickly. Chocolate and coffee aromas, also in the taste, along with some nuts and fruit. Thin mouthfeel, but silky smooth.

Really solid. Dark but not black. A muddy brown large head. Notes of cacao and marzipan. Some toasted coconut in there as well. Smooth with a tiny bit of bitterness.

Poured tallboy into shaker pint. Big Americano head, solid cola body.
Vanilla and a bit of roast in the nose.
Taste follows but has richer elements of dark chocolate, an almost savory undernote of nuts and smoked meat.
Creamy, nice mouth.
A dark lager that drinks more like a porter. Raise a glass for Old Bohemia and say "Na zdravĂ."

Black with thick tan head. Aroma of chocolate with hints of coffee. Taste is chocolate with a bit of vanilla, coffee, and dark fruit. Body is big, more like a porter. In fact, in a blind taste test I'd probably label this a porter. In any case, it's a delicious beer.

Very dark murky brown body with a khaki head and mild lacing. Roasted malt with a smoky accent, big cocoa, earthy yeast, and a hint of dried plum or some sweeter dark fruit in nose. Taste is as the nose foretold, slight earthy hop kiss on finish. Feel is malty and smooth with a medium body, roast and yeast linger after the sip. Satisfying sips though not overly dynamic
