Pours a dark amber/brown with a medium tan head. Aroma is sweet roasted malt and dried fruit. Taste is similar to aroma with a little hop bitterness. Really good Bock beer. BOD 12-6-2024

Pours a clear reddish brown, small khaki head that fades quickly. Nose gets some freshly dark bread, dark fruit and some toffee. Flavors follow the aroma. Medium bodied, tasty'n delicious!

Appearance: A bubble show builds a two finger khaki head atop the clear dark amber liquid; strong retention and clumpy lacing
Smell: Pumpernickel bread, caramel, fig, date and hazelnut
Taste: Caramel blends with pumpernickel bread as the fig and date flavors emerge; a hint of hazelnut adds complexity and builds, into the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied and somewhat creamy with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: This Bock has a much richer and deeper flavor than what I was expecting; I really enjoyed it

Poured into a Celebrator pokal. Pours a medium to dark mahogany with a fine, one finger light khaki head with great persistence and solid lacing. Aroma of is yeasty biscuit malt, dark rye bread bread, raisins and dark stone fruit. Flavor follows with dark biscuit malt, brown bread, dried plums, dates, generic nuts and a mild rye spiciness. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess. A very pleasant bock beer. Fairly authentic, but with more body and perhaps deeper flavor, both to its credit. Mouth feel is also fine. In truth, some of the best tasting bocks I've had in the last year have been domestic. Actually wish there were more of them around. Well done.

Dark brown with a slightly tan head. Bready with a bit of dark fruit and molasses on the nose. Taste is pretty much the same though there's it's slightly hoppy in the finish. Body seems a bit heavier than most bocks. A very solid beer.

Aroma is beery/grainy malts, a hint of caramel and mild sweetness. The flavor is fruit, caramel/toffee and a slightly hoppy/noble hop/beery malt finish.

Pours a dark mahogany, solid 1.5" tan head with very good retention and lacing. Nose is dark bread, dry roasted malt and barley, cooked dark fruit, earthy hops. Very little sweetness on the nose. Taste follows, playing even more bitter and tannic than expected. Light sweetness up front (pumpernickel and brown bread, stewed prunes, malt syrup), but the finish is pretty bitter and tannic; finish is long as well, which contributes to a lingering bitterness; some trace acrid notes deep on the finish as the tannins continue to linger. Mouthfeel is full and somewhat creamy. Overall, really enjoyed this.
