Fairly dark, chocolate, roast, and a bit of coffee on the nose. The taste is unusual. There's chocolate and roast but some weird herbal notes that turned me off. Well made but not my jam.

I had this on draft 1/4/24 @ the Hopleaf.
Brown/black appearance.
Nice dark tan head; strong, frothy tree-rung lacing remained.
Medium roast coffee beans, fresh earth & faint red wine notes in the nose.
Creamy, medium mouthfeel.
Fresh earth & medium roast coffee bean flavors up front; mild red wine notes on the finish. Bakers chocolate notes emerged as this warmed.
Smooth, easy drinking and possessing a suprising depth. Killer.
