Brewers notes: 15 pounds of local hops in the boil and whirlpool along with a small addition of Galaxy hops at the beginning of the boil. It has a solid bitterness and some funky 'backyard' aroma..

Had this on tap at Rev and consumed in a pint glass. Poured a solid orange color with a head that goes away quickly
pretty standard aromas of orange peels, hops and citrus'. Nothing truly stands out and isn't all that deep either
medium bodied with a good feel. Very citrus based flavors and pretty straight forward as well
This is solid. Lacks a real focus and is a straight forward IPA. This was from a wide collection of local hops grown and shows some of that unfocused character

Pours out of the cask a slightly hazy golden copper color with an extremely solid dense one finger yellowish cream head.
Aroma is citrusy with grapefruit leading to pine and resin, followed by caramel malt and a slight bit of skunk.
Body is almost watery with medium carbonation and a slight bit of astringency in the finish.
Citrusy hops lead this flavor parade, blanketing the tongue with
grapefruit, pineapple, lemon. The slight caramel sweetness of malt creeps in and a hint of resiny bitterness finishes the taste.
Overall, a good ipa, but a bit light in body. Could use a bit more bitterness to really americanize this brew. A touch of phenol is evident in the cask version. The illusion of more body is evident in the colder tap version.
Update: as it warmed, a funky flavor became evident in the finish. It wasn't entirely unpleasant but did detract from the hop profile.

A - A half-finger of white foam settles to a thin collar, leave a few spots of lace. The body is a transparent golden color.
S - Unusual hop aroma - I didn't read about this beer before trying it, but the first thing I noticed was the distinct aroma of Galaxy hops. However, the Galaxy was only in the periphery, as the main hop character was a mix of herbs, earthiness, and a touch of tangy citrus. Malt character was pretty much a non-starter.
T - Tangerine juice hop character, with a hint of dank earthiness and cat pee. Almost no malt. Somewhat boring actually. Lightly astringent finish
M - Super dry and moisture-obliterating. Body was surprisingly light, and moderate-to-high carbonation was pleasant enough. Seemed undersized for the ABV and style.
D - It was easy enough to drink, but lacked intensity and had a few off flavors. I don't think I'd want a whole pint of this one, let alone a growler. I like when breweries use local ingredients, but these hops were weird.
