A slightly leaner blend of bourbon barrel-aged English barleywines provides a base for the delicate nuances of fresh strawberry and Dark Matter Mexican cocoa nibs to shine, while retaining the same balance we expect of our beloved Straight Jacket, reminiscent of fresh, juicy, chocolate-dipped strawberries atop Crème Brûlée - this sipper can accompany dessert or stand on its own.

I had this on draft 7/23/25 @ Revolution's Taproom.
Mostly opaque brown/orange appearance.
Almost no khaki head; no lacing remained.
Strawberry, caramel & mild chocolate notes in the nose.
Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Syrup-y chocolate covered strawberry flavors; this hits the description but is cloying & tough to finish.
A rare miss from the Deep Wood series.
